Apple’s New iPhone found at the Club

Apple has been at the front of the technology and mobile device industry since many moons ago. They managed to create devices that completely changed the world and revolutionized how we do business, communicate and take in content and media. And now they are back to do it again.
Last week, at a Taiwanese strip club, an item was discovered that could only be a prototype for the Apple iPhone 47gsptx-8.5. This is not the first time that an Apple product has been left behind at a strip club. Apple has a history of having its products found randomly and then fought after in courtrooms and further editor meetings. It would appear that the motives here are the same as before, to let the public weigh in on some of the new features before Apple is planning to unveil them in spring.
This iPhone seems to be different in that a lot of the feature upgrades are hardware based instead of software based, something we haven’t seen since the iPhone 32sxg model came with a nine inch camera lens glued to it.
This iPhone doesn’t seem to have anything that racy on it but its new additions will be welcomed by users. First off, it appears that the rumors are true and this iPhone will be equipped a 4,000 mega-watt security laser. The firing button can be selected without even unlocking the phone, similar to its camera function. This will provide iPhone users with the protection they have been seeking as years.
Next Apple has set to include a foldout spoon for those who are either frequently in the outdoors or those who just prefer to use their own equipment when they are out to eat. This was speculated to have been included in the previous upgrade of the iPhone but Apple has decided to hold off till now.
Also Apple has included a hoverboard. Users who don’t hoverboarding will be able to hit a new button that is positioned in the lower right hand corner of the phone to unlock the hoverboard feature. And this hoverboard is nothing to scoff at. It can travel up 30 miles an hour and can float up to nine feet off the ground.
Lastly embodied appears that the iPhone’s speaker system will finally get an upgrade, having its power doubled from 1 watt to 2 watts, another great addition. There may be some other upgrades but for now let’s be thankful no one got shot up in the club playing with the laser.

The Declining Health of the Sports Card Trading Industry

During the 70’s and 80’s and even the onset of the 90’s sports card collectors were reaping the benefits of a immensely popluar industry. Card sales were on the rise as each month Beckett was reporting index increases in card values. Catalog companies such as Topps and Upper Deck could not print fast enough to support upgrowth with the demand from the public. There was even a point when sports cards were almost worth their collective weight in filthy lucre. Convention halls were regularly chock-full with rabid fans agog to spend money to either obtain old collectible cards or the new coveted inserts. To many collectors this occasion can be referred to as “the good times.”
Time has not been so kind to the sports card industry and as with the Pittsburgh Pirates it has endured nearly twenty years of losing, losing money, losing collectors, losing sight of their dreams. Today you can head over to eBay and find in two seconds what would take the collectors of yesterday years to come up with. Not only that but you will be able to obtain cards at bottom of the barrel prices. Rookie cards of legends that would command hundreds on the open market are coming up to yield $10-$20 dollars for your routine seller. Luxurious names like Gretzky, Griffey, and Bird we’re now merely relinquished to becoming the bottom of local bar coasters around the country.
So what happened to this once popular and precious industry? Why did it boom so quickly and plummet so fast? It’s tough to say really but to start, many stare at the sanctions piled on the card industry during the Clinton years. During the mid-90’s it was common knowledge that China had it in for the card industry. Our government was trying to improve relations between the Chinese government and ours. For years efforts were made to go into a global economy putting China and the U.S. at the forefront of matters and although relations were improved and economies grew it did not come without a price.
Only a few short years later would it come to be learned that the reasons for the U.S. government’s increased pressure on the card industry was in direct reconciliation with the government’s dealings with China. Chinese officials wouldn't “play ball” with the U.S. government unless the U.S. collapsed the trading card market. This is the type of talk you would think you only hear about in secret conspiracy theorist meetings. Over the years it seems more and more likely it may be fact.
As a card collector myself I frequently look back to my fond memories of “the good times,” remembering all the great cards I worked so hard to get and cherish. Until the card industry finds a way to operate around the government sanctions against it though, that’s all it will ever be, just memories.

Birds Are Crazy Amazing!

When I was in my younger years I remember the first time my mother took me bird watching. It was an exhilarating time. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. I think it’s safe to announce that I’m addicted to birds, maybe to an unhealthy extent, but I am crazy about them nonetheless.
There just doesn’t seem to betoken anything cooler than a bird. For one, they fly and that alone should net them the “crazy amazing” tag but it’s extremely larger than that. Birds are such graceful creatures. Whenever I see a bird in flight, swooping through the air peacefully, it reminds me of why I want to become a bird since the first time i went bird watching.
Every kid is always asked the “what profession do you desire to engage in when you grow up?” question. You commonly receive responses like “doctor” or “firefighter” but very rarely do you hear anyone wish to be a bird. But that’s what I’ve always wanted to embody. Birds are also really beautiful. Their feathers always seem to be colored so brightly and so perfectly, even the deadly ones. really though, there are no deadly birds, unless you kill an eagle's baby.
Whenever I start to feel really down about the world or depletion of friends I have I can always cheer myslef up be going to a field ditch with an industrial size bag of birdseed and feeding an endless amount of my feathered protectors, who always seem to be extremely thankful I might add. I have actually never met a bird who has gotten angry with me, something my mother cannot even make claim to. This is another reason for which birds are crazy amazing.
My thoughts on birds can be summed up by this one last story.  During my last year in High school I decided to get up enough courage and request Barbara Kleinhorsch to go with me to our school dance. She sat next to me during fifth period chemistry. That little cutie looked just like a bird. Naturally, that little cutie declined to go with me. I was crushed but instead of moping around the night of the sock hop I decided to run to a field to receive counsel from the birds. When I showed up there was a migration of finches in a nearby field. When they were alerted to my presence they all took off and swirled around me. I was in a storm of finches. It was truly amazing, maybe the crowning moment of my life, furthermore I will never forget it. So you see, if I had went to the sock hop with Barbara Kleinhorsch then that never would have happened to me.
Birds are truly crazy amazing!
